My basic question is, is it possible to construct a motor that runs purely on attraction/replusion of permanant magnets?
Some interesting ones I’ve seen on youtube claim they have already constructed such motor which could practically create “Free energy”.
Here are some examples,

Are those videos all lies? What are your thoughts on this?
Charles, I was thinking exactly the same thing. For one thing it doesn’t make sense that people should put those videos on youtube. But again, can it theoratically be done?
Chosen Answer:
False. All lies. IF energy could be stored in permanent magnets they would soon run out as you draw power away from them, and they would be over-complicated batteries.
The only time energy is created is during nuclear reactions. But the energy is created at the expense of mass.
To get unlimited energy, you would have to find a way to collect the residual energy floating around space and transmute it back into matter, which requires vast amounts of potential energy itself, and even then, you would only get the energy back that you put in, so there would be no extra energy in the end.
After all, nature’s equation always balances perfectly.
